ASI Sponsors 13th Annual Asia Pacific iMIS User Conference in Adelaide and Names 2019 Award Winners

Melbourne, VIC (10 October 2019) — Advanced Solutions International (ASI), a leading global provider of software and services for associations and not-for-profits, announced it was a major sponsor of NiUG Asia Pacific's 13th annual Discovery Conference held in Adelaide, South Australia on 18 – 20th September.

ASI is the developer of iMIS Cloud, the world's #1 association software solution, serving more than 4,000 clients, 100 partners and millions of users worldwide. The iMIS users group — NiUG International —is the largest independent, international users group in the not-for-profit software industry.

Held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the three-day NiUG Asia Pacific Discovery Conference began with an in-depth training day that included beginner sessions in iMIS, master classes in events and data/reporting and, for the first time, Certified iMIS Administrator (CiA) training.

The conference featured workshops, training classes, demonstrations, an exhibitor showcase, and networking events. A keynote on the 'Power of community and agility — the next generation association' was delivered by Charles Cameron, CEO of Recruitment, Consulting and Staffing Association Australia & New Zealand (RCSA). Conference sessions ranged from an update on the latest iMIS Cloud features to website management, business process automation, fundraising, dashboards for business intelligence, communications, engagement scoring, and improving operational performance.

"Congratulations to NiUG Asia Pacific on another job well done. ASI is proud to support this incredible annual event that brings together the iMIS community to share and learn from one another," said Colin Bryant, ASI Asia-Pacific Country Manager. "This is a very special year for us — ASI is marking 25 years in Asia-Pacific and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate this milestone with delegates at the 2019 Discovery Conference."

"At this year's Discovery, our members were able to get the expert training they needed that took their iMIS knowledge to exciting new levels. They also gained invaluable access to fellow iMIS users and tapped into the strength that comes from being part of the larger iMIS Community," said Marni Bradley, Chair, NIUG Asia Pacific. "Thank you to all our speakers, sponsors, and staff for making this one of our best-ever conferences."

Great Things Awards

Each year, ASI presents the Great Things Awards, which recognise clients who are using iMIS to help further their missions and accomplish 'great things.' The company received a record number of nominations for 2019, making the selection process difficult. The following three winners were chosen for outstanding achievement through their iMIS-powered websites with the help of their Authorised iMIS Consultants (AiCs) or Solution Providers (AiSPs):

Conference delegates vote for the People's Choice Award each year; ADAQ took home the 2019 prize.
