ASI Sponsors 2018 iMIS User Group Conference and Announces Award Winners
Alexandria, VA (January 24, 2019) — Advanced Solutions International (ASI), a leading global provider of software and services for associations and not-for-profits, was a Founding Sponsor of NiUG International's 2018 Discovery Conference in Arlington, VA on October 8 - 10.
ASI is the provider of the iMIS Engagement Management System (EMS)™ and has more than 4,000 clients, 100 partners and millions of users worldwide. Headquartered in Tobyhanna, PA, NiUG International is the largest independent, international user's group in the not-for-profit software industry.
The 13th NiUG Discovery Conference was held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA. Attendees included iMIS users, solution providers, consultants and vendors who participated in more than 50 educational sessions, training classes, demonstrations, exhibitor showcase, and networking events.
A highlight of the conference was the introduction of the latest edition of the iMIS Engagement Management System: iMIS Cloud. Designed exclusively for associations and non-profits, iMIS Cloud is a 100% cloud-based platform that unifies member/donor databases, online payments, websites, and third-party applications into a single system.
This year's event featured four tracks based on attendee interest — Back to Basics, Product, Technical and Best Practices — that included sessions on PCI compliance, GDPR/data privacy, RiSE web development, membership campaigns, event management, and more.
On Monday, October 8, conference attendees were invited to a welcome reception sponsored by ASI and 24 iMIS solution providers and exhibitors.
"This year's theme was "Power of the Past. Force of the Future," said Michele Morgan, NiUG's Executive Director. "The conference focused on sharing with our colleagues the tips and best practices we've honed over the years, while also learning about the newest technological developments on the horizon that can help us better respond to the evolving needs of our members and donors."
