Record Attendance at 8th Annual NiUG Asia-Pacific Discovery Conference; ASI Announces "Great Things" Award Winners

Melbourne, VIC (6 January 2015) - Advanced Solutions International (ASI), the largest, privately-owned global provider of not-for-profit software, today announced it served as a founding sponsor of the NiUG Asia-Pacific Discovery Conference in Melbourne on 17th to 19th November 2014. Headquartered in the United States, NiUG is the largest independent, international users group in the not-for-profit software industry.

The eighth annual NiUG Asia-Pacific Discovery Conference was held at the Rydges on Swanston with a record attendance of more than 140 iMIS users, solution providers, consultants and vendors who participated in 46 educational sessions, training classes, exhibitor showcases, and networking events.

Ten training courses were conducted on Monday, 17th November with the full conference following on Tuesday. The agenda was jam-packed with the latest iMIS product updates and dynamic sessions on engagement, retention, web management, advanced reporting/analytics, certification, and fundraising.

Conference buzz centered on the availability of iMIS 20.2 later this year. The new release of the iMIS 20 Engagement Management System (EMS)™ focuses on improving the user experience and includes several "Quick-Start" responsive web design templates, enhanced dashboards and member/donor engagement metrics, expanded translation features to reach global constituencies, greater process automation, and new certification program efficiencies.

"This was the best-attended conference in NiUG Asia-Pacific's history," said Colin Bryant, ASI Asia-Pacific Country Manager. "There was tremendous excitement about the exceptional program of educational sessions and great anticipation about the upcoming release of iMIS 20.2. ASI is very proud to sponsor this important iMIS community event."

Conference Highlights

  • ASI conducted on stage interviews with four clients regarding engagement scoring, upgrading to iMIS 20, membership growth, and increasing efficiency.
  • During breaks, the ASI Tech Support Team provided popular short learning labs on using tech support, accessing online resources and answering common issues.

Great Things Award:

ASI annually recognises clients who are using iMIS to help further their missions and accomplish "great things." The following 2014 winners achieved this through their outstanding iMIS RiSE websites:

  • Real Estate Institute of New South Wales

Two clients also received honourable mention: Australian Physiotherapy Association -- National Office, and Victorian Farmers Federation.
