iMIS Cloud Finance: Closing Processes

Managing financial transactions are an important part of an organization’s day-to-day business, and iMIS Cloud can make these responsibilities more efficient and effective. iMIS serves as your cash receipts and accounts receivable sub-ledgers, maintains an audit trail, and tracks the accounting for financial transactions automatically. iMIS closing procedures allow you to transfer the financial information to your accounting system without having to re-key the information.

This class will focus on the areas of iMIS that you might need to keep your accounting system in sync with iMIS. It will use the most current version of iMIS Cloud which offers enhanced features that are entirely web based and will focus on all the tools that ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

This session is instructor led and is demonstration based only. We’ll discuss some of the core ways that your organization can leverage iMIS Cloud to build and maintain a solid revenue base for your organization.

How you will benefit

You will be aware of commerce tools throughout iMIS Cloud:

  • Batch management
  • Refunding credit invoices
  • Mass write-off debit/credit balances
  • Creating a GL journal
  • Scheduling deferred income records (if licensed)
  • Accounting reports

This class is ideally suited for staff and leadership involved in financial management. Long time iMIS users who have used the AR/Cash module in the desktop will benefit from learning how iMIS Cloud can replace your experience when you upgrade.

While this program is designed for users of iMIS Cloud 300—(Enterprise) , clients of iMIS Cloud 200—Professional may also benefit.
