About the FundHow to ApplyPre-Approved Courses & Scholarships AvailableSelection Process and Information for Recipients

Stop Press: Apply in the September round for funding to attend FIA's Fundraising Leadership Program.  Applications close for the September round on Friday 12 September 2008 (extended from the 10th).  Congratulations to our June round recipients - further details on recipients at our blog (www.asismartcompany.com).

The ASI SMART Company Scholarship Fund was established to encourage the professional education of individuals working in the not-for-profit sector.

Advanced Solutions International (ASI) is the leading provider of software solutions to the not-for-profit sector. ASI's flagship product, iMIS, provides the only membership, fundraising and website management solution in one upgradeable software suite.

The ASI SMART Company Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships and education subsidies up to $25,000 (up to $2,000 per individual) per year. The study that the applicant intends undertaking must be directly relevant to their professional development in the not-for-profit sector.

In order to be eligible to receive scholarships, applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or have permanent residency status and be full-time or permanent part-time employees. For selected scholarships, applicants must be full-time employees or permanent part-time employees of organisations that are ASI customers (using iMIS or Open Alms software) who are current with their annual Software Update Plan at the time of the application closing date.

Applications are reviewed quarterly (March, June, September and December) by the Review Panel. Applications can be lodged at any time and should include written evidence from their employer stating the employer's support for the application. Applicants awarded a Scholarship in a previous round are welcome to apply for funding again. Unsuccessful applicants from previous rounds are encouraged to apply again.
