2007 brought some exciting developments with the International iMIS
User's Group, NiUG International, building a presence in the
Asia-Pacific region.

NiUG Discovery Conference
The NiUG (Asia-Pacific) Discovery Conference was held at Sea
World Nara Resort on Australia's Gold Coast from 10-12
October 2007. Almost 100 delegates gathered for this first NiUG
Asia-Pacific Discovery Conference. The highlights included
presentations from iMIS users and international speakers as well as
hands on workshops. Presentations and photos from the
conference are posted at www.niug.org.

Information Days
NiUG Information Days have already been held in Melbourne and Sydney
in 2007. Future dates are planned and will be advised soon.

Information Days follow the following format:
- a report back on issues raised at earlier Information Days
- a presentation; and
- an open forum session
Information Days are conducted in the morning and run for three
hours.
