Psychologists Register Improvements With iMIS
The Psychologists Registration Board of Victoria’s primary function is to protect the community by promoting standards of professional practice, setting standards for registration, registration of provisional, specific and general psychologists, investigating complaints against psychologists and managing the health of psychologists with a physical or mental impairment. In Victoria there are approximately 5,800 general psychologists and about 1,600 provisional psychologists working towards general registration.
Prior to using iMIS, the PRVB used a custom-made database solution that lacked upgradeability, web integration and flexibility, or guaranteed ongoing support. These were considered essential criteria in the selection process for a replacement system and would underpin future developments and improvements. |

RACS trains surgeons in nine surgical specialties, maintains surgical standards, advocates and researches. Needless to say, RACS’ membership is exacting in its expectations of the College and the demands on its 200 staff are significant. |
