ASI Successfully Concludes First 'Focus on Fundraising' iBEF Symposium
Non-Profit Executives Discuss Their Organizations’ Fundraising
Goals, Technology Use, Strategic Plans and Performance
Objectives
ALEXANDRIA, Va., (July 11, 2011) - Advanced
Solutions International (ASI), the leading global provider of web-based
software for member- and donor-based non-profits, recently led the first
'Focus on Fundraising' iMIS Business
Excellence Forum (iBEF) Symposium. Held at the
Association of Fundraising Professionals' (AFP) headquarters in
Arlington, Virginia, the conference brought non-profit executives in
organizations using iMIS together to discuss
their fundraising goals, strategic plans and how they see the marriage
between fundraising and technology evolving. Attendees also mapped out
how their organizations can better leverage iMIS and their technology to improve performance and
meet their business objectives.
The iBEF program is designed to help ASI's
customers maximize their investments in iMIS
by improving overall organizational productivity, increasing revenue
and/or reducing expenses. The complimentary 'Focus on Fundraising'
Symposium was designed to give non-profit executives a venue to discuss
industry trends, challenges and organization-specific needs with peers
and ASI management. This dialogue becomes the foundation for stronger
business relationships and iMIS product
development plans.
The first 'Focus on Fundraising' iBEF
Symposium featured case study presentations from Chi Omega Foundation,
Guide Dog Foundation, Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan
Chicago, Catholic Diocese of Arlington and Salesian Missions. ASI
partner GoLightly also led a session on how non-profits can leverage
social media in their fundraising initiatives, and interact with and
engage donors using iMIS.
"With our first iBEF fundraising
conference, we wanted to provide our customers with a chance to focus on
their fundraising goals, find out what their peers are doing with iMIS and discover new ways to take advantage of
their technology," said Bob Alves, chairman and CEO of ASI. "ASI is
pleased with the success of this Symposium. The participating
organizations gained insight from one another and found new ways in
which iMIS can help them achieve their
fundraising objectives. At the same time, we had an opportunity to get
closer to our customers and understand how non-profits want to use
technology to achieve their performance objectives."
