ASI and Visual Antidote Launch First Video Player Add-on Application
for iMIS
iXtend Partnership Gives iMIS Customers Complete Control Over Their Video

ALEXANDRIA, Va., (October 5, 2011) - Advanced
Solutions International (ASI), the leading global provider of web-based
software for member- and donor-based not-for-profits, today announced
that Visual Antidote has joined the iXtend
Development Partner Program, and that the Authorized iMIS Consultant's iMIS
add-on application, Video Player for iMIS
(VPi), has been granted Gold-level status.
iMIS customers using ASI's web content
management (WCM) solution can now manage videos as easily as photos,
PDFs and other documents on their websites. With VPi, not-for-profits
can stream and sell access to their video content, for example, from
conferences, seminars and other events, to provide a branded, more
dynamic web experience for members and donors and generate revenue.

- ASI’s iXtend Development Partner Program assists current
partners, third-party companies and individuals, customers and ASI staff
with the development, integration, promotion and selling of new iMIS add-on applications. Under this program, ASI
provides the tools and guidelines to help this community develop
software products for iMIS that have the same
structure, characteristics, and behaviors as ASI-created iMIS modules.
- Visual Antidote's VPi, the first and only video
player built exclusively for the iMIS platform
using ASP .NET Web Parts, was honored as the iMIS Technology Innovation of the Year at ASI's
iNNOVATIONS partner conference in May
2011.
- The add-on application integrates with iMIS Orders and WCM security settings for simple
financial processing and access restrictions. It also detects viewers’
operating systems and mobile devices to show the correct versions of
video content.
