ASI Continues Growth in First Half of 2008
Web-based Software Provider Adds to Product Offerings, Expands
Geographical Reach and Non-Profit Market Presence
ALEXANDRIA, VA - August 18, 2008 - Advanced Solutions International, (ASI), the leading
global provider of web-based software for associations and non-profits,
today announced that it continued to see revenue and profit growth over
the past six months ending June 30, 2008. Significantly strengthening
its international presence, the company reached the following
milestones:
- ASI achieved record revenue during the first half of 2008 with a 6%
increase in software license revenue and 15% increase over target in
EBITDA. ASI's international operations in Canada, Europe and Australia
collectively achieved record revenue for the first half of the year.
- ASI acquired U.K. charity and fundraising software company, Fisk
Brett, creating the largest, privately-held software provider in the
world focused on member and donor-based non-profit organizations. The
combined entity includes nearly 3,000 customers and 210 employees in
seven offices worldwide.
- ASI continues to expand its customer base across the non-profit
market, adding new customers such as the Starlight Children's Foundation
of Australia, the Malaysian Nature Society and Crown Financial
Ministries (U.S.A.).
- An independent report by Lehman Associates confirmed ASI's
leadership position in the association market with a nearly 40% market
share, an increase over 2007. The 2008 AMS Association Market Study
compiled data from national and international associations with budget
sizes of $2 million or greater in North America, and showed that iMIS led other major AMS vendors in meeting customer
expectations for the time, cost and ease of implementation. New iMIS customers in the association market include the
Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of British
Columbia.
- ASI announced the availability of iMIS
Friendraising, a fully-integrated online fundraising application. The
peer-to-peer fundraising tool was introduced to help organizations
increase overall campaign revenue, streamline participant
communications, and provide donors with the unprecedented ability to
quickly build and maintain their own networks online.
- The company received three major industry awards for support and
performance. Service Strategies Corporation (SSC) recognized ASI with a
certification in Service Capability and Performance (SCP) support
standards for the sixth year in a row, as well as professional service
standards for the second consecutive year. ASI was also honored with the
Software Testing Best Practice Award from the International Institute of
Software Testing (IIST).
- ASI added six iMIS partners, including
GoLightly, Orbis Software, iDashboards, Bluesky Broadcast, Job Target
and Boxwood.
"Building upon our success in 2007, we have made significant strides
in the non-profit market and maintained our leadership position in the
association space," said Bob Alves, chairman and CEO, ASI. "We will
continue to give customers access to new social media technologies,
closer integrations with third-party applications and more throughout
the rest of 2008."
