Payment and Registration
It is preferred that payment accompanies your registration, but if it
is not it must be received by or on the first day of
class. Payments can be made either by check or the following
credit cards: American Express, MasterCard, and Visa.
To register for iMIS courses, you may:
- Register on-line using iMIS e-Events
- Fax your registration form to (571) 527-2014
- E-mail your request with payment to training@advsol.com
- Mail your registration form to ASI Training, 901 N.

Prerequisites
Registrants not meeting the prerequisites listed in the course
descriptions will not be registered for the classes.
Registration Fees and Deadlines
Early Bird Registration: Where applicable, all registrations received
at least one month prior to the first day of class save $100.
Regular Registration: If you miss the early bird deadline you will
pay the regular course fee.
Multiple Registrations: If you submit 3 or more registrations at the
same time, you will save $100 off of each class. This can be for any
combination of classes or students. This does not apply to on-line
classes or where otherwise indicated.
Cancellation Policy
Registrations canceled less than 10 business days prior to the first
day of class will result in a $100 charge. No-shows will forfeit their
entire registration fee.
All cancellations must be made in writing to training@advsol.com , faxed to
Training at (571) 527-2014, or mailed to ASI, Attn: Training, 901 N.
Pitt Street, Suite 200 , Alexandria , VA 22314 .
The cancellation fee will be waived if transferring to another class
offered by ASI. This is a one-time only waiver.
ASI reserves the right to cancel any class with inadequate
registration 11 business days prior to the course date. We recommend you
purchase the more expensive refundable airline tickets in the event of
cancellation.
Group & Multi-Course
Discounts
Please note, for qualified courses only, we offer group discounts if
you register for 3 or more classes. This is in addition to any early
bird discount. This does not apply to on-line classes or where otherwise

Inclement
Weather
It may be necessary to delay, postpone, or cancel an ASI training
class due to weather conditions. Classes held in Alexandria , VA are
cancelled only when ASI's Alexandria office is closed. The office is
closed only when the city government of Alexandria closes. This may be
verified at the city's website: http://ci.alexandria.va.us/ .
We are aware that inclement weather may prohibit or delay the travel
to the scheduled training facility even when classes are run and will do
our best to accommodate students who cannot attend for these reasons.
Please call (703) 739-3100 for the latest information regarding
delays, postponements, and cancellations caused by foul weather.
Class Hours
All ASI training classes begin promptly at 9:00 AM and end
approximately at 5:00 PM (unless stated differently on your registration
confirmation notice). Please plan accordingly for traffic and parking
when attending your training class. Lunch is not provided but there
are several options available nearby.
Parking
At the ASI offices in Virginia, parking is available in the Crowne
Plaza at 901 N Fairfax St. Alexandria, VA 22314. The parking fee is 10
dollars, but you MUST check in with the front desk to pay and confirm.
Do not use the ASI parking lot. Visitor parking in the ASI parking lot
has a strictly enforced 2 hour limit.
In Austin, parking is available at the training site and is free.

Virginia Travel & Lodging
Metro
The closest metro is Braddock Road on the Blue and Yellow lines. It
is about an 8 block walk from the metro to the ASI office, or a short
cab ride.

Virginia Airports
There are three airports in the Washington , DC area. Washington
Dulles or BWI often offer the most economical airfares, but require
additional travel time to Alexandria . For more information on any of
the three airports, visit www.quickaid.com .
National Airport is the closest to the ASI Worldwide Sales Office -
about 5 miles away. Check with your hotel as some offer complimentary
shuttle transportation to and from the airport. Cabs are available for
approximately $7.00 each way. You may also take the Metro ( Washington
's very clean and safe subway system) from the airport to the Braddock
Road Metro stop (on the Blue or Yellow line) in Alexandria for under
$2.50. ASI's office is about an 8 block walk from there.
Washington Dulles International Airport is approximately 25 miles
from Alexandria . You may take the Super Shuttle for $22 one way, or
taxi service for approximately $50 one way. You may wish to consider
renting a car if flying into Dulles Airport . Allow 45 minutes drive
time.
Baltimore-Washington International Airport is approximately 40 miles
from Alexandria . You may take the Super Shuttle ($35), a taxi ($65), or
rent a car. Taking a train from BWI is doable but more complicated: take
Amtrak or Marc to Union Station. Take a cab from there to Alexandria or
get on the metro and transfer at the appropriate station to a blue or
yellow line to Braddock Road . Allow at least 60 minutes drive time.

blocks of the ASI office, and local restaurants are just a short walk
away. A rental car is not necessary.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is approximately 30 minutes from
the ASI Austin Training Centre at TCEA (11.2 miles). You may rent a car,
take a taxi for approximately $30 each way, or take Super Shuttle for
about $25 each way.

Toronto Pearson International Airport is approximately 30 minutes from
the ASI Toronto Training Centre at FrontRunner Training (21 km). You may
rent a car or take a taxi for approximately $30 each way.

Front Runner’s (our venue partner) building is right on the subway
line, access direct from the subway. The office is accessible direct
from the subway. When you get off at Sheppard/Yonge, walk up to the
Sheppard line, turn to the left and walk along the platform to the West
Exit. When you walk up the stairs, there is a Sheppard West exit, turn
left and there is a door marked, 25 Sheppard Ave. W, go through the
door, up the escalator, go through the doors on the right, walk past the
Java Joe's, turn right to the elevators.
There is underground parking, in before 9 a.m. pay a $20 deposit, then
when you leave you may get back what is owing based on what the day rate
is. There is also a big outdoor parking lot beside the building.
